Strollamus extends to approximately 1913.85 Acres (774.50 Ha) of primarily open hill, the majority of which is classified as Grade 6.3 on the land classification for agriculture scale. The SAC site comprises essential summer habitat, where the number of animals has been suggested to be frequently above normal levels.
