Biodiversity net gain initiative creating over 280 biodiversity units for sale.

  Located within the Northern Thames Basin National Character Area, this scheme will increase coverage of biodiverse habitats, contributing to strategic priorities in Hertfordshire. 
  
  The scheme will generate approx. 284 biodiversity units of various habitat types. The site is in an ecologically strategic location within approx. 1 km of  Hilfield Park Reservoir, a Local Nature Reserve, and Aldenham Country Park. The scheme will act as a habitat stepping stone to improve habitat connectivity across the landscape.

  The biodiversity baseline and Habitat Management and Monitoring Plan have been completed for this scheme.
