Biodiversity net gain initiative creating c.300 biodiversity units for sale.
Suffolk Wildlife Trust are delivering a landscape scale BNG scheme to generate over 300 biodiversity units. The scheme will revert organic arable land into a species-rich grassland mosaic and floodplain grassland enhanced into a new inter-tial habitat.
Developers can secure biodiversity units for the following habitat types:
- Grassland habitats
- Heathland and shrub habitats
- Lake habitats
- Hedgerow habitats
- Coastal saltmarsh habitats
- Intertidal sediment habitats
Location
The 95 ha site is located approx. 1 mile east of the village of Martlesham within the East Suffolk LPA.
