Directions
Fort William is 100 miles (2.5 hours) north of Glasgow and 65 miles (1.5 hours) south of Inverness.
From Glasgow
Follow the M8 West out of the city and at Junction 30 (signed Erskine Bridge, Erskine & M898) join the M898.
Pass over the Erskine Bridge, then take the A82 North towards Dumbarton.
Stay on the A82, passing Loch Lomond on the right and at Crianlarich, continue on the A82
At Ballachulish, continue on the A82 towards Fort William.
Remain on the A82 passing Loch Linn he on the left to Fort William.
From Inverness
Take the A82 South from Inverness.
Follow the A82 to Drumnadrochit, where you will bear left continuing to follow the A82.
Pass Loch Ness on the left and at lnvermoriston, bear left following the A82.
At Fort Augustus continue on the A82.
Continue to follow the road along side Loch Lochy and at Spean Bridge, continue on the A82 towards Fort William.
Follow the A82 until you reach Fort William.
By Train
Fort William is served by trains from Glasgow Queen Street, Oban, Crianlarich, Spean Bridge & Mallaig.
